For over four decades, Jamia Ahya-ul-Uloom in Bllambat, Lower Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been at the heart of religious education, providing students with the knowledge of the Qur’an, Sunnah, and Islamic sciences. Under the leadership of the students of the Sciences of Prophethood, our mission has always been to nurture future leaders who uphold the teachings of Islam and contribute to the betterment of society.

As part of our ongoing commitment, Jamia has witnessed tremendous growth, especially this year. In Ramadan, we hosted over 400 students for an enriching Tafseer course, and our teachers conducted 38 Tafseer programs across mosques and madrasas. We also provided Qur’anic education to over 2,000 children in our surrounding communities through Qur’anic circles. This immense outreach is just the beginning.

But to continue this vital work, we need your support.

Currently, our student body consists of 1,117 dedicated learners in programs ranging from Quranic Recitation, Hifz (memorization), Tajweed, Dars-e-Nizami (Islamic studies), and specialized courses. The demand for education is growing every day, and so are our operational needs. Our electricity bills, teacher salaries, and daily operational expenses have risen significantly, reaching over 2 million rupees a month, and this continues to be a challenge for us.

But we have an opportunity – and we need you to help us seize it.

This year, we are embarking on an exciting new phase in Jamia’s development. Our current facilities are no longer enough to accommodate the growing number of students. To meet this demand, we have started the construction of a new three-story building that will house 24 additional classrooms, providing more room for our students to thrive.

The estimated cost for the new building is 18 million rupees. This is where you come in. With your generous support, we can continue to offer quality education to thousands of students in the years to come.
